NWG Business Responsive Website
Design and develop a responsive WordPress website in collaboration with Northumbrian Water Business.
We were thrilled to collaborate with Northumbrian Water on the latest iteration of their website for the Business arm of the group.
Having designed and built the original website in a challenging timescale, we were comfortable with our understanding of the business and its goals.
For this latest iteration, the project focused on 3 key business objectives;
- Revised design to unify the newly formed branding.
- Improved lead generation.
- Revised information architecture and customer facing features.
Although the existing website catered well for the originally needs and scale of the business at its inception, the growing team and customer portfolio demanded a rethink of the NWG Business online presence.
As design is often the most subjective phase of any project, the studio needs to remain flexible to change. During the design process, the brand direction shifted, meaning our initial pass at layout and wireframes wasn’t the best fit. Although this presented a challenge with assigned budget and timeframes, we worked closely with the NWG Business team to produce revision that everyone was happy with.
Aside from some ambitious design challenges, we also developed a custom incident reporting plugin and notification bar for WordPress. This allows the team to update customers of any reported incidents in real-time.
We continue to support the NWG Business team on an on-going basis through our AfterCare programme.
