As a Software QA Engineer at KOMODO, it’s your responsibility to support the development team in their accessibility, exploratory, functional, integration, load, regression, security, usability and cross browser testing. Your responsibilities will include:


  1. Designing, developing and executing test strategies and test plans for software that will be deployed across a range of mobile and desktop platforms.

  2. Helping to create modern QA and QC processes and ensuring they are followed within the development team.

  3. Managing and creating test strategies and environments appropriate to each project.

  4. Monitoring deployed systems and ensuring ongoing delivery is a success.

  5. Providing defect reports and ensuring that all services we provide are running effectively and our products meet the highest quality standards through effective planning, automation and monitoring.

You'll have:

  1. Attention to detail, especially during testing and recording results. A focus on clearly logging and tracking issues to resolution.

  2. Knowledge of working with QA processes.

  3. Knowledge of manual and automated cross browser testing strategies.

  4. Experience of testing websites, web applications, mobile applications and desktop applications across a range of devices.

  5. Experience of creating test plans and possess the skills to execute them

  6. Knowledge of user-experience best practises across the web and mobile.

  7. Knowledge of user interaction and accessibility best practises across the web and mobile.

  8. Knowledge of the software development life cycle, development processes and practices.

  9. Experience of development in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Objective-C etc.

  10. Experience of working as part of a user experience lead design team, with a focus on designing and delivering software to a high standard.
